Ernest Kwabena Opare Owusu, popularly known as Kobby Prairie, has graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.
He received the degree during the institute’s 26th Congregation held on Friday, July 24.
The master’s degree was a strategic investment to deepen his knowledge and complement the practical experience he had gained over the years.
Before obtaining the master’s degree, Mr. Owusu had built a career in partnership development, investment mobilisation and facilitation, strategic communications and business management.
He serves as the Diplomatic Head of the Eurasia Chamber of Commerce in Ghana and has also worked as a strategic communications consultant to paramount chiefs, international investors, corporate leaders and brands in Ghana and abroad.
Mr. Owusu previously studied French and Spanish at the Ghana Institute of Languages before earning a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a major in Public Relations from Pentecost University.
The master’s programme provided him with a deeper understanding of international relations, diplomacy, regional cooperation, and the frameworks that govern peace, security and development in Africa and beyond.
The qualification adds to his years of industry experience in diplomacy, partnership development, strategic communications and investment facilitation, giving him both academic training and practical expertise for the job market.
His graduation marks another milestone in his academic and professional journey, combining formal education with years of practical experience in diplomacy, international relations and strategic communications.
