24/9/2024 The Minister for Youth and Sport , Mustapha Ussif, says there hasn’t been any response from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to inspection calls for the Accra and Cape Coast Sports Stadia. CAF's ban on the Baba Yara Stadium has brought the Ghana Football Association (GFA) under pressure as the association races against time to secure a suitable venue for the Black Stars next home game. The National Sports Authority (NSA) closed down the Accra, Cape Coast and Baba Yara Sports Stadia for maintenance works following CAF’s decision.
