February 24, 1966, remains a solemn reminder of the moment the visionary trajectory of our founding father, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, was violently and tragically truncated.
Though the coup plotters succeeded on that day, they failed in their ultimate mission.
The torch Nkrumah lit still burns.
It burns in every Pan-African ideal we hold, and in the resilience of a people who refuse to forget their true founding father.

From the industrial heartbeat of Tema to the hydroelectric power of Akosombo, his blueprints remain the very pillars upon which our republic rests.
He did not build for the next election but rather for the next century.
As we remember this solemn anniversary, let us recommit to building the Ghana he envisioned, which is independent in thought, industrious in action, and forever the beacon of Black liberation.
The dream lives on.
KWAME NKRUMAH NEVER DIES!
