Pan African TV’s Akua Ababio was at the university’s campus to monitor the new development and has come through with this report. On n Monday, January 10, 2022, the University Teachers Association of Ghana began its industrial action to demand better conditions of service and a hike in salaries of lecturers. After more than a month of staying away from the lecture halls, members of the association arrived at a decision to suspend the strike following a court order. Majority of lecturers across some seven public universities in the country voted against the decision by UTAG’s national Executive Committee (NEC)
